From its origins as a school-operated enterprise, we have evolved through phases of independence from educational institutions, corporate restructuring, and transitions into a shareholding format. Today, we stand as an innovative high-tech enterprise boasting a registered capital nearing RMB100 million and assets over RMB3 billion, supported by a strong workforce of more than 2,000 employees. Dedicated to the advancement of safety glass technology, we specialize in the research, development, production, sales, and service of safety glass processing. We have recently expanded into the nuclear decommissioning and post-processing equipment sector. Our product portfolio addresses six critical sectors: automotive safety glass and sunroof assemblies, rail transit safety glass and side window assemblies, aircraft and other specialty safety glasses, marine specialty glass and assemblies, nuclear decommissioning and post-processing equipment, and new and innovative materials. As a frontrunner in the high-end specialty safety glass manufacturing in China, we are a vital global base for safety glass used in EMUs and high-speed trains.
Our operational base includes over 300,000 square meters of state-of-the-art workshop areas. We utilize advanced production and testing equipment sourced from leading global markets such as Germany, USA, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea, and Japan. These facilities comprise more than 30 automated production lines, empowering us to achieve an annual output capability of 15 million square meters of safety glass and assemblies.
We have achieved ISO9001, IATF16949, TS22163, AS9100D, and other quality management system certifications. Additionally, we are certified under ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, further endorsing our commitment to sustainable and safe operational practices. Our credentials extend to ISO50001 Energy Management System and ISO10012 Measurement Management System certifications. Globally, we meet the standards required for CCC certification in China, DOT certification in the USA, ECE certification in Europe, and KS certification in South Korea.
We have established three overseas R&D centers in the USA, South Korea, and Germany, complemented by three domestic R&D centers in Shanghai, Dalian, and Hai’an. Our research infrastructure is supported by significant scientific bases including the National Enterprise Technology Center, National Innovation Center for Advanced Glass Materials (Anhui) Co., Ltd. (co-founder), Provincial Postdoctoral Workstation, Provincial Enterprise Engineering Technology Research Center, Provincial Key Laboratory, and Provincial Postgraduate Workstation. We have undertaken 14 national key engineering projects, hold 518 patents, including 56 invention patents, and have been involved in the formulation of 36 national standards and 1 international standard. Our technologies have received several provincial science and technology awards.
We are an essential supplier of complete safety glass and sunroof assemblies to leading automotive manufacturers such as SAIC Motor, GAC Group, FAW Group, SINOTRUK, Changan Auto, and JAC Motors.
We manufacture safety glass and side window assemblies that are extensively utilized in high-speed trains, CRH series EMUs, subways, and urban rail systems. We are proud to be a designated supplier for major rail transit vehicle manufacturers such as CRRC, KTK Holding, and Nanjing Kangni Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd.
Through independent research and development, we have pioneered the use of gradient coating technology on aircraft cockpit glass to ensure uniform heating. Our power constant method evaluates and tests this heating uniformity. These technological advancements have positioned us as a primary supplier of cockpit glass for China’s large aircraft, including the C919 and C929.
We excel in producing specialty glass that meets both fire prevention and heat insulation standards, solving the industry challenge of providing only one of these functions previously. Our specialty glass finds diverse applications across specialized vehicles, maritime public service ships, luxury cruise ships, marine engineering vessels, icebreakers, scientific research ships, and various offshore platforms.
Leveraging core technology from AKG, we have developed innovative products like nuclear cycle post-processing robotic arms and back-end processing equipment for nuclear facilities, achieving international acclaim. Our collaboration with the China Institute of Atomic Energy on the liquid waste treatment facility, featuring a heat pump system, has successfully transitioned from concept to industrial implementation.
We are a Vice Chair of the China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and a Board Member of the China Nuclear Energy Association. Recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, we have garnered prestigious accolades including the Manufacturing Single Champion Demonstration Enterprise awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, and National Enterprise Technology Center.
